1. Full HD sensor technology from Sony

The 2.1 megapixel front camera captures up to 60 frames per second (FPS). The 139 degree wide angle lens is perfect for capturing the road ahead. The Sony STARVIS back-illuminated sensor is capable of capturing an unprecedented level of detail in both shadows and highlights in challenging lighting conditions. Take a look at the sample below, comparing the high end DR750X with and without the STARVIS sensor.

The front-facing camera records extra smooth, fluid videos at 60 FPS, keeping all details sharp even at motorway or racetrack speeds. With 60 FPS, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30 FPS. That means your BlackVue can better capture details such as license plates, even on fast-moving objects.

2. Suits both 12V and 24V systems

The kit includes a cigarette lighter socket connection cable which suits cars, buses, trucks, machinery and more.

The optional B-124X Power Magic Ultra High Capacity Battery Pack is also suitable for 12V and 24V systems, allowing extended parking mode operation when enabled with the optional Power Magic Pro kit.

3. Easy to install and easy to use

The kit comes with everything you need to set up your new dash cam - you can even install it in the carpark before you drive off! It's as easy as setting up a GPS navigator.

The side button has two purposes - a brief press toggles voice/audio recording on and off, and to reformat the memory card, just hold it down for 10 seconds.

4. Built-in impact and motion detection

While driving, your BlackVue detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, it also detects movements (enabled with optional B-124X Power Magic Ultra High Capacity Battery Pack or optional Power Magic Pro hardwiring kit accessory). It even automatically tags the recorded files accordingly (normal, event, parking mode motion or time lapse), so finding the relevant video file is always quick and easy in the App or Viewer.

5. Smart memory management and support for up to 256GB memory cards

Automatic loop recording mode overwrites the oldest files when the memory card reaches capacity so you'll never miss the latest action.

BlackVue Adaptive Format-Free Technology reduces file corruption and the need to frequently reformat the memory card like on other brands.

6. Compatible with optional tamper-proof accessory case and external BlackVue GPS receiver

This innovative accessory case replaces the standard front camera mount with an all-in-one unit which blocks physical access to the microSDHC card slot and connections.
