The capacitive touchscreen works like a smartphone, and you can customise the menus and widgets. Built-in DAB+ digital radio brings you digital stations, and Bluetooth 5.3 with HFP 1.7 gives you reliable hands-free calling and music streaming.

Shape your sound with the 13-band graphic EQ and digital time alignment, and add an amplifier through three pairs of 3V RCA pre-outs (front, rear and subwoofer). Two camera inputs (front and rear) let you add external cameras, and the HD rear camera input suits Kenwood’s optional CMOS-740HD and CMOS-150HD cameras. The unit is iDatalink Maestro ready and steering remote ready, so you can retain factory controls with the right adapter.

Key features:

9" HD (1280 x 720) capacitive floating display with anti-glare screen

Wired and wireless Apple CarPlay

Wired and wireless Android Auto

Siri and Google Assistant voice control

Wireless mirroring for Android, and Apple mirroring via HDMI

Flexible ball mount floating design with 5-point vertical screen height adjustment

Built-in DAB+ digital radio

Bluetooth 5.3 with HFP 1.7 (calls and music)

13-band graphic EQ, digital time alignment and 2/3-way crossover

3 pairs of 3V RCA pre-outs (front, rear, subwoofer)

2 camera inputs (front and rear), HD rear camera ready

HDMI input (D type)

Rear USB port with 2.1A charging

iDatalink Maestro ready

Direct steering remote ready

1DIN chassis, 117.3mm mounting depth

Specifications:

Screen: 9" capacitive, 1280 x 720, anti-glare, white illumination

Chassis: 1DIN floating, not a short chassis, 117.3mm mounting depth

Power output: 22W x 4

Pre-outs: 6 channels (front, rear, subwoofer), 3V

EQ: 13-band graphic, with digital time correction and 2/3-way crossover

USB: 1 rear port, 2.1A charging

Bluetooth: 5.3, HFP 1.7, single active phone connection

Radio: built-in DAB+

Navigation, CD and DVD: not included

Connectivity notes:

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto can be interrupted by things like phone firmware updates, low power or battery optimisation modes, and radio interference in busy areas.

Android Auto works with a wide range of Android phones, but Kenwood can’t guarantee every device.
