The DR970X-1CH is a single-channel front only 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) dash cam with BlackVue Cloud connectivity. It is equipped with an 8 megapixel CMOS image sensor which ensures best clarity under any light. This stealthy dashcam also comes with built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and native parking mode with built-in voltage monitor support via the included hardwiring cable. You can trigger manual event recordings by a touch of the "SOS" button. Recordings can be viewed and downloaded easily with the BlackVue App on your compatible smartphone. BlackVue's free cloud service allows you to check on your car from anywhere, anytime, wherever there is internet acces via a Wi-Fi hotspot or the optional 4G LTE connectivity module (CM100GLTE).
Built-in GPS receiver embeds speed and location data in your videos and allows you to track your vehicle in real-time via BlackVue Cloud (CM100GLTE required) and view its location on a map during playback in the BlackVue App or Viewer.
Connect to your BlackVue with a smartphone or tablet and to the free BlackVue cloud via built-in Wi-Fi or connect the optional LTE connectivity module (CM100GLTE) to the USB port for the best Cloud experience (SIM card and CM100GLTE not included).
DR970X Series can be hardwired to your vehicle's fuse panel to enable parking mode, without requiring additional accessories. The dashcam will switch to parking mode automatically when the vehicle ignition is turned off. Voltage cut-off and timer can be set in the BlackVue App. Some hybrid vehicles may require a dedicated battery pack due to limited 12V vehicle battery capacity.
The built-in accelerometer detects impacts to trigger event recording, enables parking mode when stationary for 5 minutes detecting visual movements around your vehicle, and tags your video files for easy filtering in the BlackVue Viewer or the BlackVue App.
Seamless pairing to the BlackVue App allows you to easily connect to your BlackVue to access files, change configuration settings and check real-time live view. The web viewer lets you manage your Cloud-connected dashcams from any web browser at blackvuecloud.com.
Easily and safely trigger a manual event recording by the press of a button.
Your videos are safe with Event Files Overwrite protection. Dashcams record in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory card is full. Overwrite protection can prevent event files (triggered manually or by impacts) from being overwritten by flagging them.
Adaptive Format-Free File Management system improves recording stability and requires less microSD card formatting.
This front-facing camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action.
