It is not suitable for Rotary or Diesel engines. Semi Synthetic 10W-30 may be used where SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30 grade oils are recommended by the manufacturer. It can be used where ILSAC GF-3, GF-4 & GF-5 fuel economy oils are recommended and where API SN or earlier API specifications SM (2004-2010), SL (2001-2004), SJ (1998-2001) were recommended. Semi Synthetic 10W-30 meets API SN Plus specification providing improved turbocharger deposit control, oxidation and deposit control, aeration, fuel economy and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection and enhanced wear protection over standard API SN grade oils. As an API SN Resource Conserving, ILSAC GF-5 grade engine oil, it is suitable for everyday road use in Flex Fuel systems where E85/E10 fuels are used. It is not recommended for use in four stroke motorcycles with a wet clutch. The appropriate Penrite MC-4ST motorcycle oil should be used for these applications.
