Even better, the auto connection function automatically pairs both phones so incoming calls from either of the paired phones can be answered.
Love Spotify? It's now a dedicated audio source on the MVHS425BT menu. This is a really handy feature for those of us who love pumping a Spotify playlist in the car because the MVHS425BT will directly control content from the Spotify app on a compatible iPhone. No need to touch your phone; you can play, pause and skip tracks, or even browse playlists, albums and radio stations, using the control buttons on the MVHS425BT.
This easy to use car stereo plays your tracks at 4 x 50W of pure, proven MOSFET power. If that is not enough, you can always use the 2 x RCA pre-outs to hook up an extra amplifier for the front and/or rear speakers or even a subwoofer!
Pioneer Smart Sync App
Supporting the Pioneer Smart Sync App enables you to fully utilise the power of your compatible smartphone, it expands, it evolves, and furthers every moment you spend in your car. Including the ability to playback music from your favourite streaming source, allow music playback from up to 5 devices, make calls, listen to messages, navigate to a destination, use voice recognition and tune your audio system.
Customisable OBD-II Vehicle Data Widgets
The Pioneer Smart Sync v4.0 app now enables the display of widgets for vehicle information including engine performance, live data and vehicle diagnostic codes to show repair needs. With a compatible Bluetooth OBD-II code reader (not included) plugged into the vehicle's OBD-II port, you can read and clear standard diagnostic codes and view drive information, average speed, economy and more straight from the Pioneer Smart Sync v4.0 app. Pioneer recommends researching the use of OBD-II Bluetooth readers and notes that data and fault code access varies between vehicles. This may also mean the data displayed may not be in realtime.
Alexa Built In
Pioneer Smart Sync now features Alexa built-in. Using Alexa with Pioneer Smart Sync is simple: just tap-and-ask to play music, hear the news, check weather, control smart home devices,* and more. Alexa lives in the cloud, so it's always getting smarter, adding new capabilities that are delivered to your device automatically.
Pioneer notes that Alexa is an Amazon trademark and certain Alexa functionality is dependent on smart home technology.
Dual Bluetooth Connections

When activated, Siri voice prompts play through the vehicle's speakers and the user's commands and questions are received and transmitted to the receiver using the external microphone.
