1Club Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 10 March 2025.
Clarifications made 09 March 2026 (no change to members rights or obligations).

1. Definitions

  • Auto One means Auto One Pty Ltd trading as Auto One ACN 003 820 291.

  • 1Club is the Auto One loyalty program launched on 17th March 2025 available to eligible customers. 1Club supersedes the previous Auto One Club Membership.

  • Member is a customer who is registered for the 1Club.

  • Member Terms means the applicable 1Club loyalty program terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of 1Club outlined within.

  • Eligible Purchases are the transactions made directly with Auto One that constitute the earning of 1Club Credits.

  • 1Club Member Account (also “Account”) is the account set up for Members of the loyalty program.

  • 1Club Credits (also “Credits”) are the 1Club rewards earned by Members when making Eligible Spend with Auto One and, by meeting other spend and non-spend criteria set by Auto One from time to time.

  • 1Club Vouchers (also “Vouchers”) are digital vouchers automatically converted from Credits earned that can be redeemed with Auto One against an eligible purchase.

  • Participating Stores are Auto One’s physical stores (including website) participating in the 1Club where Members can earn Credits and redeem Vouchers. The most up-to-date list of 1Club eligible stores can be viewed at www.autoone.com.au/pages/1club-faqs#participating-stores.

  • Auto One Club Membership is the previous Auto One loyalty program, now superseded by the Auto One 1Club.

  • Auto One Membership Cardholders are customers who have previously registered for Auto One Club Membership Card.


2.0. General

2.1 These Member Terms include terms and conditions, rules, regulations, policies and procedures around the management and operation of the Auto One 1Club, membership, Credits and Vouchers, and related promotional activity.

2.2 As a Member, you agree to, and are bound by, these Member Terms including any variations made to applicable terms and conditions, rules, regulations, and policies stipulated by Auto One for 1Club. You enter into an agreement with Auto One and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2.3 By becoming a Member of the 1Club, you warrant and represent to us that you have read, understand, and agree to these Member Terms, you are over 18, and have the right and authority to enter into a legal agreement, to abide by these Member Terms.

2.4 Auto One reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate the 1Club including without limitation any specific feature, reward or benefit, and the Member Terms, at its sole discretion. Auto One will notify Members of any changes to the 1Club by email and by updating the Member Terms published on the Auto One website, giving Members 30 days’ notice of such changes.

2.5 Auto One collects personal information for the purpose of providing 1Club updates to Members including related rewards, benefits, and promotional activity. Personal information will be managed in accordance with Auto One’s Privacy Policy. These Member Terms are to be read in conjunction with additional conditions including without limitation the Privacy Policy, Website T&Cs and other relevant Auto One policies and or terms and conditions. 

2.6 Auto One’s decisions relating to all 1Club matters are final and binding.

2.7 These Member Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. In any legal action with respect to 1Club Terms and Conditions, Members will submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australia Courts. 

2.8 Auto One acknowledges that certain jurisdiction laws, such as the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) imply terms, conditions, and warranties for the supply of goods and services. These Member Terms are not intended to restrict application of these laws. 

2.9 To the extent prescribed in the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth), all material used in 1Club promotions is the property of Auto One. 


3.0 - 1Club Eligibility & Registration 

3.1 Eligibility: To be eligible for 1Club membership, you must be over 18 years old, and an Australian resident. 1Club membership is available to individual customers, and is not available to Auto One staff, trade customers, corporations, businesses, charities, partnerships, enterprises, or anyone other than an individual, unless Auto One provides prior written consent, in its sole and absolute discretion. 1Club membership is limited to one account per individual.

3.2 Auto-Enrolment: 1Club is the new Auto One loyalty program that has superseded the previous Auto One Club Membership. At launch of the 1Club loyalty program March 2025, existing Club Membership cardholders of participating stores will be enrolled into the 1Club program by Auto One. As an auto-enrolled Member, you will be notified of your enrolment by email (using your registered email stored by Auto One in conjunction with your preceding Club Membership). The email will provide these Member Terms and details on how to opt-out of marketing communications and 1Club. 1Club Members can opt-out of marketing communications or cancel their membership at any time as outlined in the program at any time, as outlined in sections 3.7 Cancelling 1Club Membership and 4. Auto One and 1Club Communications.

3.3 Membership Registration: New Auto One customers can join 1Club by registering personal details in-store or online (autoone.com.au). Mandatory personal details for registration include full name, email address and mobile number for identification purposes. Other personal details, including without limitation, birthday month, are not mandatory. Registration is confirmed by email from Auto One. 1Club Membership is non-transferrable, cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, or traded. 

3.4 1Club Member Account: Upon enrolment, your 1Club Account will be created, which is restricted for access only by you, as the Member. The 1Club Account provides details of your earned and accessible rewards and benefits. As a Member, you are responsible for keeping your 1Club Member Account details secure. Auto One is not responsible for potential risks associated with Member Account details being shared, including without limitation, other parties accessing and/or redeeming rewards of the 1Club Member Account owner. 

3.5 Maintaining Member Details: It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure registered personal details are up to date. Members can update details in-store, or by logging in to the 1Club Account – www.autoone.com.au. Auto One is not responsible for outdated Member details, including where a member fails to update personal and contact details resulting in Eligible Purchases not being linked to the Member’s Account, and rewards or benefits not earned or delivered to a Member’s email account or are not accessed by the Member. 

3.6 Proof of Membership: Auto One representatives (including, without limitation, in-store, and customer services staff) may request proof of your identification as a Member, at any time, to verify your 1Club membership and compliance with these Member Terms. 

3.7 Cancelling 1Club Membership: You can cancel your 1Club membership at any time by emailing 1club@autoone.com.au. If you cancel, you will no longer have access to member-only promotions and benefits, and you will no longer be eligible to earn Credits or earn or redeem Vouchers. Any existing Credits and Vouchers will be void and cannot be reinstated. This is not reversible. If you later rejoin 1Club, your membership will start as a new account with a zero Credits balance and no active Vouchers.

To request cancellation, email 1club@autoone.com.au and include your registered email address, full name, and either your loyalty account number or the mobile number linked to your account.

3.8 Right to Suspend or Terminate Membership: Auto One has the right to suspend or terminate your 1Club membership, at any time if you are found to be in breach of these Member Terms, including without limitation, if it is reasonably suspected that you have engaged in fraudulent conduct with, or are deemed to be abusing, the 1Club. In the case of your membership being terminated any Credits and Vouchers associated with your 1Club Account will be revoked, without compensation. 

 

4.0 Auto One and 1Club Communications

4.1 Privacy Policy: Auto One collects, uses, discloses, retains, and manages Members’ personal information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act. Personal information provided by Members for 1Club is managed in accordance with these Member Terms and the Auto One Privacy Policy autoone.com.au/pages/privacy-policy.

4.2 Auto One Promotional Marketing Communications: Members who opt in to receive promotional marketing (“Marketing Communications”) will receive communications via email and/or SMS from Auto One and Auto One’s selected partners (according to the registered contact details in your 1Club Account). Marketing Communications may include without limitation, Member-exclusive offers, sales, discounts, and promotions available to eligible 1Club Members.

4.3 Marketing Communications Opt-In/ Out: Members can unsubscribe from and resubscribe to Auto One’s Marketing Communications at any time by logging into their account at www.autoone.com.au. If you opt-out of Marketing Communications you may not be eligible to participate in Member-exclusive offers, sales, discounts, and promotions.

4.4 Program Communications: As part of your 1Club membership, Auto One will send you transactional service communications (“Program Communications”) by email to the address registered on your 1Club Account. By agreeing to these Member Terms, you acknowledge that you will receive Program Communications for servicing purposes. These communications are necessary to operate and service your membership and may include changes to these terms, account or service updates, and notifications about earned, issued or expiring rewards/benefits.

4.5 Stopping 1Club Program Communications: If you do not wish to receive 1Club Program Communications, you will need to cancel (close) your 1Club membership account (see clause 3.7 Cancelling 1Club Membership).


5.0 Earning 1Club Credits

5.1 Credits: 1Club Credits are earned when you make Eligible Purchases at Participating Stores and identified as a Member at the time of purchase. 

5.2 Calculating Credits: An Eligible Purchase is calculated on the net amount of a transaction (including GST and after any mark down pricing, discounts, vouchers, and refunds applied at point of purchase). 

5.3 Credit Earn Rate: You will earn 5% Credit ($0.05 for every $1.00 in Eligible Purchases). Credits are calculated on your GST-inclusive total and rounded up to the nearest $0.20. Actual Credits earned may vary depending on the products purchased, promotional offers, and any applicable exclusions as outlined in clause 5.7. For example, a purchase of $46.00 earns $2.40 Credit.

5.4 Eligible Purchases: You earn Credits on Eligible Purchases when you:

  • Make a transaction with Auto One in a Participating Store and are correctly identified as a Member at the time of purchase. 

  • Purchase with Auto One online (autoone.com.au) logged in and identified as a Member, placing an order for delivery, or placing an order for click and collect from a Participating Store. 

  • Purchase products using an Auto One gift card. 

  • Purchase parts as part of a fitment service (no Credits earned on cost of labour for fitment services).

5.5 Participating Stores: You earn Credits with Auto One online (autoone.com.au) and Participating Stores. Eligible stores are subject to change without notice. The most up-to-date list of 1Club eligible stores can be viewed at www.autoone.com.au/pages/1club-faqs#participating-stores.

5.6 Member Identification: You are solely responsible for identifying yourself as a Member when making an Eligible Purchase to earn Credits. Members not identified are not eligible to earn Credits. Auto One takes no responsibility for unidentified Members not earning Credits, and Credits cannot be issued by Auto One retrospectively after the Eligible Purchase is made.

5.7 Exclusions: You will not earn Credits on:

  • Purchase of Auto One gift cards.

  • Cost of delivery / shipping. 

  • Cost of labour services as part of a fitment service (Credits earned on purchase of parts). 

  • Items where an additional non-advertised discount is applied at the point of purchase (including price-overrides, discount overrides or the application of Trade based pricing).

  • The value of a Voucher redeemed in any transaction (where a purchase payment is split between Voucher and another payment method, Credit is earned on the portion of other payment method only).

5.8 Credit Balance: Upon meeting the Credit earn eligibility criteria, Credits are automatically allocated into your 1Club Account within 24 hours of the Eligible Purchase made. Your Credit balance is accessible in your 1Club Account. 

5.9 Credit Expiry: Credits earned on Eligible Purchases are valid for 2 years. Credits expire 2 years after the Eligible Purchase was made. Expired Credits are automatically removed from the 1Club Account and Credit balance.

5.10 Credit Expiry due to Inactivity: If a Member is inactive for 365 days, not making a purchase or redeeming a Voucher, Credits in the Member’s Account will automatically expire. 

5.11 Refunds: Where refunds are issued by Auto One, in accordance with the Auto One Returns Policy https://www.autoone.com.au/pages/refunds-and-returns, the refunded transaction amount is automatically removed from Eligible Purchase history and the Credits earned with the original Eligible Purchase are deducted from the Credit balance within 7 days of the refund. 

5.12 Forfeit of 1Club Credits: If you cancel your 1Club membership you forfeit any Credits remaining in your 1Club Account at the time of cancellation. If you are found in breach of these Member Terms, and your membership is terminated by Auto One, any remaining Credit will be forfeited, without compensation.

 

6.0 Bonus Credit Earn

6.1 Promotional Bonus Credits: In its sole discretion, Auto One may invite Members to earn Bonus Credits via promotional offers. Bonus Credits may be earned during specific promotional periods when a Member meets the specific spend eligibility criteria, including without limitation, purchase of a specific product, product, within a department or product category, in participating stores, and/or channel (e.g. online only). Auto One may notify eligible Members of Bonus Credit earn opportunities and promotion-specific terms and conditions via Marketing Communications, in Participating Stores, and/or online (autoone.com.au).

Bonus Credits will be subject to specific terms and conditions, promotional periods, inclusions, and exclusions. By participating in a Bonus Credit promotion, the Member accepts and abides by the related terms and conditions as well as these Member Terms. 


7.0 Voucher Issuance

7.1 Voucher Issuance: Credits are automatically converted to Auto One digital Vouchers, when your Credit balance reaches $10 and in every increment of $10 Credit. Vouchers will be issued at the equivalent value of the converted Credits.

7.2 Outstanding Credits: Credits not converted to a Voucher remain in your 1Club Account unless or until your Credit balance reaches the next $10 Voucher issuance increment or the Credit expires. Example: A Member earns $24 in Credit. A $20 Voucher will be automatically issued. $4 $4 remains in the Member’s Account Credit balance. 

7.3 Voucher Delivery: Digital Vouchers will be delivered to your registered email address and into your 1Club Account within 24 hours of the automatic Credit Conversion. 

7.4 Voucher Validity & Expiry: Vouchers are valid for 90 days. Vouchers automatically expire at midnight, 90 days after issuance. Voucher expiry dates are displayed on the digital Voucher and in your 1Club Account. Auto One is not liable to compensate or extend the validity of any Vouchers for any reason. It is the Member’s responsibility to redeem an available Voucher before the expiry date. Expired Vouchers are automatically removed from your 1Club Account. 

7.5 Voucher Redemptions: You can redeem Vouchers on eligible transactions in Participating Stores or online at autoneone.com.au. Eligible transactions include cost of delivery and Click and Collect. The redeemed Voucher value will be deducted from the eligible net transaction (including GST and after any discounts and refunds are applied). Any remaining part of an eligible transaction after the value of the Voucher has been redeemed, must be paid via another payment method to complete the transaction.

7.6 Participating Stores: Vouchers can be redeemed via Auto One online (autoone.com.au) and in Participating Stores. Eligible stores are subject to change without notice. The most up-to-date list of 1Club eligible stores can be viewed at autoone.com.au/pages/1club-faqs#participating-stores.

7.7 Multiple Voucher Redemptions: Multiple Vouchers can be redeemed in a single eligible transaction provided all Vouchers are valid.

7.8 Partial Voucher Redemption: If a portion of a Voucher is redeemed the remaining Voucher value can be redeemed separately on an eligible transaction and before the Voucher expiry date. Once a Voucher is redeemed in full, it cannot be reused, reissued or recredited.

7.9 Bonus Vouchers: At its sole discretion, Auto One will award additional Vouchers to Members for non-spend activity and events, for example Anniversary vouchers and Birthday vouchers.

7.10 Redemption Exclusions: Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers cannot be redeemed on purchases of Auto One gift cards.

7.11 Member Identification: Auto One reserves the right to request Member identification at the time of Voucher redemption (whether in Participating Store or online).

7.12 Forfeit of Vouchers: If you cancel your 1Club membership, any active Vouchers (and any remaining unused Voucher value) will be void and cannot be reinstated. If you breach these Member Terms and Auto One terminates your membership, any Vouchers will also be forfeited (voided) without compensation.


8.0 Refunds

8.1 Returns and Refunds: Refunds and returns are managed in accordance with the Auto One Return Policy which can be found at autoone.com.au/pages/refunds-and-returns.

8.2 Credits: If you return an Auto One product and are issued a refund, the refund amount is deducted from your Eligible Purchases. Any outstanding Credits in your 1Club Account, which were originally earned on the corresponding Eligible Purchases and that have not been auto converted to Vouchers, are deducted from your Credit balance.

8.3 Vouchers: If you purchase an Auto One product (in full or part) using 1Club-issued Vouchers, return that product and receive a refund, the Voucher value originally used against the refunded purchase is forfeited. No cash refund is applied to any redeemed Voucher value and the Voucher value is not re-issued.

10.0 Intellectual Property

10.1 All 1Club design, text, graphics, logos, images, titles, phrases and product names and the copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property in such materials are owned by Auto One.


11.0 Release and Indemnity

11.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto One excludes any and all liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any special, indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with these Member Terms, including without limitation, any loss of business opportunity or anticipated savings.

11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto One expressly excludes any conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights, remedies, liabilities, or other terms that may be implied by custom, under the general law or by statute in favour of you under these Member Terms.

11.3 You agree to release and indemnify and hold Auto One and its affiliates, agents, and employees, harmless from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses and damages (actual, special and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, including legal fees on a full indemnity basis, arising from or in relation to your use of 1Club, your breach of these Member Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party. 

11.4 This clause survives termination of these Member Terms.


12.0 General

12.1 Waiver: Any failure or delay by Auto One in exercising a power or right (either wholly or partially) in relation to these Member Terms does not operate as a waiver or prevent Auto One from exercising that power or right or any other power or right. We are not liable to any other party for any loss, cost or expense that may have been caused or contributed to by the failure, delay, waiver, or exercise of a power or right. This clause survives termination of these Member Terms.

12.2 Force Majeure: If we are unable to perform in whole or in part, any obligation under these Member Terms as a result of any fact, circumstance or matter beyond our control, we are relieved of that obligation to the extent and for the period that it we are unable to perform the obligation.  You agree that Auto One will not be held liable for any delay or failure in performance of any part of 1Club.

12.3 Severability: If any part of these Member Terms is determined to be by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that part shall be severed from the Member Terms. Such invalidity does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Member Terms. This clause survives termination of these Member Terms.

12.4 Relationship: These Member Terms do not confer an agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between Auto One and you or any other party unless expressly stated otherwise.

12.5 Entire agreement: These Member Terms (and all other terms and conditions and policies that are incorporated by these Member Terms) and any additional policies or terms you have agreed to through use or access of 1Club make up the entire agreement, and supersede all prior written and oral agreements, representations, undertakings and understandings.  Where there is an inconsistency between these Member Terms and any additional Member Terms, the additional Member Terms will prevail. This clause survives termination of these Member Terms.

12.6 Jurisdiction: These Member Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts operating in Australia its appellate courts. 1Club is accessible from within Australia only. Auto One makes no representations or warranties that its content comply with the laws (including intellectual property laws) of any country outside Australia. If you access 1Club from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws in the place where you are located. This clause survives termination of these Member Terms.
