Our Electric Roller Shutter has 5 individual methods of operation
HSP roll top ute cover can be operated in 5 individual ways. Giving even more ability for any user to use the Roll R Cover in a way that they prefer. These five include:
- Factory RAM remote integration: by simply double tapping your existing vehicle remote, you can open, close and pause the cover. This also works with any spare remotes as the smart receiver receives signal directly from your vehicle computer.

Mobile phone application: The HSP4x4 App on your iPhone or Android device can open, close, pause and control the LED light of the cover. Additionally, you can easily add your own custom settings for things like light intensity, timers for lights and the touchpad turning on and off other functions and more!
- Voice command convenience: Apple users can also use SIRI voice command to open and close the cover. You can set the command within the HSP App and even use your name as a prompt! For example: “Hey Siri, Open Johns Roll R Cover”

Your ute's interior Lock and Unlock buttons: Just like the vehicle remote, you can simply double tap the lock or unlock buttons found inside your vehicle to open and close the cover. Giving you the ability to open from the comfort of your driver’s seat.

Built-in Smart Touchpad: Built into our super-sleek side rails is an illuminated touchpad that allows you to open, close and pause the unit with a simple tap. For added security, the touchpad only works when your vehicle is unlocked and can be custom programmed to have a timed shutoff.

The Roll R Cover is the only cover in Australia that avoids the traditional boxed design, opting instead for a flat profile rail. This allows for a complete contour cut of the side rails during production, meaning the edges are tailored to the unique profile of your vehicle tub. This process ensures that the HSP side rails sit lower and flow seamlessly with the aesthetics of your car.
Extra small canister with 100% retraction
The HSP Roll R Cover boasts the industry’s smallest fully retractable canister, housing the motor discreetly within a uniform casing. Unlike most roll tops on the market, which have 10-15 cm of the curtain permanently sticking out, this 4×4 accessory curtain fully retracts into the canister. The design makes it easier to load and unload your tub, giving you more space and convenience in your vehicle.

Utilising a combination of clamps and factory mounting points ensures a precise fit and even weight distribution. Over the air Wifi updates
The HSP Roll R Cover is the only ute cover that allows you to receive over-the-air Wi-Fi updates to the smart operating receiver. This means that most updates or enhancements we develop for future programming can be automatically added to your unit, no matter where you are. Simply tap “update” on the HSP 4×4 App to keep your Roll R Cover current with the latest features and improvements.
Built-in Horizon LED Light Bar
The Horizon LED Light Bar is exclusive to only the HSP Roll R Cover. Flush integrated seamlessly into the canister and spanning over one metre in length. This full-width LED light ensures that there is more than enough illumination for all your night-time activities. Through the HSP App, you can easily adjust the LED settings, including light intensity and auto timing, to suit your preferences.
The ultimate security for your RAM tub
For security, the HSP Roll R Cover incorporates a range of physical and non-physical measures to protect your vehicle and its contents.
Electronic Security: The smart touchpad only works when your vehicle is unlocked and automatically shuts off after a specified time. The main operation integrates with your factory remote, leveraging your vehicle’s existing security system. Additionally, the mobile phone app uses your phone’s Face ID and passcode for secure access.
Physical Security: The design includes no physical handles, eliminating the risk of handling break-ins. The interlocking aluminium slats of the curtain are completely secure, preventing any attempt to cut through the curtain with a knife.
Exceptional water protection, making our Roller Shutters water resistant
The HSP Roll R Cover provides superior water protection, being the only roll top in the world to feature an external grate system which allows water to flow into a full-length gutter built into the side rails and exit through one of four XL water drains. This advanced design can handle over 60 litres per minute, ensuring your tub stays dry and your cargo remains protected from rain.
Cross Bar compatible
The HSP Roll R Cover features a full-length channel built into the side rails, allowing you to easily mount the HSP Load Bar cross bars. This makes it easier to carry more items on top of your roll top. You can utilise the full-length channel to position the load bar in multiple locations by easily sliding them up and down. This cross-bar system enables you to carry additional items like bike racks, roof boxes, and hundreds of other accessories.
