ENVIRO+ C3 is a premium full synthetic, SAE 5W-30 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Fully Licensed and Warranty Approved engine oil. It is fully licensed and approved for warranty service for Mercedes-Benz where MB 229.52 is required. It uses advanced mid SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulphur)* additive technology
ENVIRO+ C3 is licensed by the API (American Petroleum Institute) to meet API SP and API SN Plus specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction. It also exceeds the latest European ACEA C2/C3 requirements as well as many other manufacturers' specifications.
Application
ENVIRO+ C3 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged low emission engines including those fitted with/without DPF’s (Diesel Particulate Filters) and both petrol & diesel Hybrids.
ENVIRO+ C3 may be used where SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30 grade oils are recommended in the owner’s handbook. It can be used where ACEA C2 or ACEA C3 oils are specified by the manufacturer and meets the fuel economy* requirements of a C2 oil whilst maintaining the wear protection of a C3 oil. It can also be used where API SP, API SN Plus or previous specification API SN or API SM grade oils are required and also where fuel economy specifications ACEA A1/B1 (Obsolete), ACEA A5/B5 and ILSAC GF-5 are specified.
ENVIRO+ C3 is approved against Mercedes-Benz 229.52 and is also suitable for use where BMW Longlife-04 oils are required. It can also be used where MB 229.31/229.51 or GMW 16177 oils are required in vehicles such as - BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Holden / GM, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, SsangYong, Subaru, Toyota and many others.
Vehicle & Fuel Types
ENVIRO+ C3 can be used in passenger cars, 4WD’s & light duty commercial vehicles and is compatible with Petrol, LPG, E10, diesel, biodiesel, hybrid and most other conventional fuels. It is not recommended for use in four stroke motorcycles with wet clutches.
Important Maintenance Information
For vehicles fitted with a Diesel Particulate filter we recommend the use of Penrite ENVIRO+DPF CLEANER to clean & prevent DPF blockages, maximise catalyst life and improve engine efficiency, power & fuel economy.
NOTE: when changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
