HPR 0 is a premium, full synthetic SAE 0W-30 engine oil. It features a DOUBLE LAYER of engine wear protection and Penrite's advanced EXTRA TEN technology. It uses a combination of advanced additive technology and a low shear rate viscosity modifier, to ensure additional protection against wear, corrosion, oxidation, piston deposits and sludge under tough conditions.
It meets API SP and ACEA A5/B5 specifications, as well as other manufacturers' specifications.
Application
HPR 0 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines, including petrol/electric hybrids.
HPR 0 is recommended for use in vehicles where SAE 0W-30, SAE 5W-20 or 0W-20 low viscosity engine oils were originally recommended by the manufacturer. It can be used where the ILSAC GF-3/GF-4/GF-5, ACEA A1/B1 (obsolete) and A5/B5 fuel economy specifications are requested by the manufacturer. It may also be used where API SP and previous API specifications SN (2010-2020), SM (2006-2010) & SL (2002-2006) were recommended. It is also suitable for use in many Diesel and LPG powered vehicles requiring an engine oil meeting ACEA B5 specifications.
HPR 0 is suitable in Hybrid powered petrol/electric vehicles where this viscosity and specification are requested by the manufacturer. It is NOT recommended for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA “C” grade Low-Mid SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus & Sulphur) engine oil.
Vehicle and Fuel Types
HPR 0 is suitable for use in passenger cars, 4WD's & light commercial vehicles and is compatible with Unleaded Petrol/LPG (Dual Fuel)/E10 & Diesel and other conventional fuels.
Extra Ten Technology
HPR 0 features the Penrite EXTRA TEN in the oil's SAE rating. This technology helps protect your engine by using a normal start up viscosity with an oil that has a higher operating temperature viscosity. This improves engine oil film strength, lowering frictional heat whilst providing an extra layer of anti-wear protection over standard SAE grade oils, reducing engine wear in all driving conditions.
Important Information when changing oil
NOTE: HPR 0 is NOT suitable for use in rotary engines. It is NOT suitable for use in four-stroke motorcycles.
When changing oil, Penrite recommend using Penrite Engine Flush, a fast acting, solvent free, engine cleaning formulation that removes engine deposits, sludge and contaminants with the oil service drain. It contains added zinc for engine wear protection and its fast-acting formulation works in 10 minutes.
Please Note: A 58mm cap with pouring tap is available to fit 7, 10 & 20 litre packs.
