SAAS Electric Thermo Single Fan Controller Kit on 85° C / off 76°C - SFC1001
SFC1001 - Electric Thermo Single Fan Controller Kit on 85° C / off 76°C
Kit comes complete with:
- Thermo fan switch 1/8NPT switching on 85° C / off 76°C
- Linkable relay and socket
- SFC1001 - supplied with 1 for single thermo fan application
- SFC1002 - supplied with 2 for dual thermo fan application
- Red LED indicator light
- SFC103 Temp Switch available as a spare part
Fitting Notes:
- Switch thread size is 1/8-27 NPT
- Switch turns on 85° C / off 76°C
In most engine cooling system applications, coolant travels through the block, up in to the cylinder head(s), and out of the engine at the thermostat housing. From there, it passes to the radiator to be cooled.
Ideally the temperature probe should be plumbed into the system where the coolant is hottest - generally, the thermostat housing, in the coolant passages adjacent to it, or in the water jacket of the cylinder head(s).
You can use a SAAS brass adaptor to tap into an available coolant jacket port, or in the absence of any of these alternatives, splice into your top radiator hose using a SAAS Water Temp Adaptor fitting.
