Monitor your vehicle's exhaust gas temperature and be on the alert for possible overheating or other potential engine issues. Designed to measure high temperatures beyond those of a normal temperature gauge, our Muscle series EGT gauges feature a thermocoupled sensor that can be placed into an appropriate temperature source such as the exhaust manifold.

These gauges become an essential tool in checking for imbalanced air/fuel ratios which can be influenced by restricted air filtration systems, altitude, load, ambient temperature and so on. Modify your driving (when towing for example) before excessive temperature builds.

Depending on your gauge location, you may need to purchase an exhaust temp probe extension so as to avoid undue tension on the lead. This is particularly so with gauges mounted in Pillar Pods. You may also need to supply a weld on bung to allow mounting of the probe - use our SGA1001 Exhaust Temp Sender Bung (link in Spares/Specs below)
