Applying the Speaker Foam strip around the speaker mounting surface further acts as an airtight seal to eliminate bass response lost from gaps between the speaker and the mounting plate. 3. Attaching the Sound Snakes (suitable for up to 8 inch speakers) around the front lip of the speaker acts a seal to the door trim panel. This stops audio being lost behind the door trim and also directs all the sound into the car. 4. The Door Clip Foam Rings eliminate rattles that can be produced between the door and the door trim panel.
